Lana Crabb

About

 

Lana is a British designer-maker and jewellery explorer, working in Birmingham's beautiful and historic Jewellery Quarter. After graduating with a BA (Honours) degree in 2012, Lana set up her own studio workshop where she makes research work, limited edition pieces and comissions.  

 

Lana graduated in 2015 with an MA in Jewellery, Silversmithing and Related Products from the School of Jewellery, Birmingham,  and completed a year long residency at the school, providing teaching assistance one day per week.

 

Lana exhibits her work internationally and delivers jewellery demonstrations and workshops, most frequently at Cooksongold,  The MAC (Midlands Art Centre) and for The Quarterworkshop.

 

Starting in September 2017, she will also be offering one-on-one jewellery tuition in her new jewellery workshop, please get in touch for more information. Processes include:  general metalworking (soldering, forming, texturing, pattination, finishing, polishing), basic stone-setting, vitreous enamelling, bead/pearl stringing, resin, mould-making and specialist silicone techniques.
